| Functional description | High glucose-induced abnormal expression of BM components may contribute to increased vascular permeability. SiRNA may be a useful tool in preventing excess vascular permeability. Coll IV-1 and Coll IV-2 significantly reduced Coll IV expression (55.8±13.3% of control, 54.7±13.5% of control, P=0.004, respectively). |
